Welcome to Liberty County and the Liberty County Schools! We invite you to visit any or all of our fourteen schools. Our system offers special programs, top-notch facilities, and outstanding educators, staff members, parents, and students. Each year our staff and students win numerous awards and commendations. Each school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the Georgia Accrediting Commission, and other Georgia State Standards. We are pleased to offer a Pre-K program for many of our community's four year olds. Our eight elementary schools house grades kindergarten through fifth grade students. Our three middle schools utilize the middle school team concept for their sixth through eighth graders. Students in grades 9 through 12 in our two high schools are offered challenging curriculums and many extra-curricular activities, including Junior ROTC. Our HOPE campus on Gause Street houses Coastal Academy for emotionally challenged students.
